The Rocket Queens, after taking a very long break between playing shows to focus on their other "real" bands, and while Semen traveled the land with a bunch of old Hippies who are grateful of being dead, are back in action. That's right, they are actually playing another show. Assuming anyone even visits this website anymore, you can check the shows page. Jan 24th is the day, so put it on your brand new 2004 calendars as soon as you get them Christmas morning.

Attention! Attention! The Rocket Queens are featured in the latest (April 2003) issue of Playboy on newstands now.For those of you under 18, or who are opposed to the magazine for whatever reason, you can check out a scan of the feature by click on the image to the right.

In the wake of the smashing success story, bassist Muff McKagen suggested that the band milk their 15-minutes for all they are worth. In accordance with that, we offer you these links of upmost importance:

Asshole Rose also plays in Laurence Iconoclast
Jizzy Stradlin also plays in Meris
Muff McKagen also plays in Above the Orange Trees
Semen Handler also recently joined Enda
Slosh also plays in too many bands 1, 2, 3, 4
Fat SoreBum (the web guy) wishes to plug his portfolio site Low Diameter.

There was a party last night that RQ played at. The pictures from that party are up, right here.

October is here, and that means that the Rocket Queens are playing again. If you don't have anything already planned for Halloween, mark down your calendars to come down to San Jose and see the RQs with Plan 9 (Misfits tribute band.) Check the shows page for more info.

Rocket Queens played with Hot For Teacher on Saturday night at Rooster's in Alameda. HFT were a dead-on David Lee Roth era Van Halen tribute band. Super nice guys. My camera decided to stop working after the first song, so I only got a few pictures off. Thankfully a nice gal named Suzanne was taking photos too, and sent me some pictures she had taken of the RQ.

Another show has been booked.

Pictures from last nights show at Kimos are up.

Rocket Queens are playing May 31st, 2002 @ Kimo's Bar (1351 Polk and Pine in San Francisco) 21 and up.

Rocket Queens are playing this Saturday (December 1st) in Concord. You should attend this show (and this includes all of you out in the UK who keep writing in with their support for the Rocket Queens.)

While you are on the SHOWS page, why don't you read up on the past Rocket Queens shows, now that Slosh was finally sober enough (for a few moments) to write down some hazy memories of those events.

I've been updating the Hate Mail page, so you should check that out, if you haven't seen it for a few weeks.

Decided to add a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page to the site, check it out before writing to us, please.

Finally we have gotten the live video edited down into smaller bits. Song sized bits, actually. You can now check out an entire Rocket Queens performance (video taped December 2000.) Choose your favorite song, instead of waiting for the whole show to download (as you had to do with the previous edit.) Many thanks to Mr. Michael for encoding and editing down the RQ video!

Under the advisement of both Muff McKagen and Semen Handler, we have added a Hate Mail section for your reading pleasure.

Look at this a whole new layout. I hope you hate it.
Thanks to the Livermorons that made it out to the show last night. You can see some fancy pictures, if you missed it.
